At Bare Hands, our far-reaching plan is to reduce a significant portion of the now 853 million bottles of nail polish destined for landfills each year.

Most people don’t realize it, but a typical manicure habit over 20 years can send more than 130 bottles of polish, remover, and topcoat into the landfill. That’s the equivalent of tossing a full trash bag of beauty waste—just to maintain a shine that chips in days.
