Healthy Nails Bundle
The Details
For those who need a little extra support to keep nails shaped and cuticles tamed, we’ve combined our 3 favorite products to do the job. The secret to our healthy nail methods is liberal use of oils and scrubs to keep cuticles resilient, ward off hangnails, and strengthen the nail. (That extra oil is really important to boost the fats necessary to keep the keratin mesh flexible).
We know from our reviews that these products help curb habits like nail biting and cuticle picking and they definitely have helped folks who use their hands often and wash them frequently (bakers, jewelers, medical pros— we see you!)
What's in the bundle?
— One Citrine scented Cuticle Oil Pen
— One Czech Crystal Nail File
— One Hand + Cuticle Scrub
How to Use
Step 1: Prep Your Cuticles with the Hand + Cuticle Scrub
The scrub was designed specifically for hand use. It’s not at all goopy or loose like a body scrub. This ‘dryness’ allows it to carry the sugars with enough time to get a good scrub, and when the oils are absorbed, you simply brush the sugar crystals off and rub the balm in for an extra layer of protection. A good method to soften cuticles before you nudge them gently back, is to allow the scrub to sit on the hands for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Use the Cuticle Oil Pen
Our brush pen is, in our opinion, the most efficient way to oil cuticles since it dispenses only what the skin can absorb in one application. Have severely dry cuticles? Let the first application absorb, and then re-apply until the oil no longer absorbs in the skin. This may take up to 15 applications. Once the skin is flooded with oil, keep applying a few times a day to keep them hydrated. Our Citrine scent isn’t just for show— people say that it keeps them coming back for the little reward (and strengthening those healthy habits!)
Step 3: Shape nails
You wouldn’t think that shaping is therapeutic, but we’ve seen that when a consistent shape is maintained, the appearance of “perfect” really does help keep you from biting, tearing and picking.
