LET'S GET STARTED
The Dry Gloss Manicure Kit is designed to enhance your natural nails — no polish, no damage, no waiting for them to dry. Each tool works together to smooth, condition, and strengthen your nails over time.

Your first Dry Gloss session
1_ PREP
If you need to, push your cuticles back to make room for the polisher to access the most amount of nail possible. If your cuticles are grown out over the nail plate or they are hard, you'll need help softening them. Use this video for this first step.
2_POLISH
Using the rough side of the glass Polisher, move in short, light strokes across each nail surface. You’ll see the shine develop within seconds once the first bits of dust start lifting off onto the polisher.
Focus on mapping the nail in sections: Flat first, then the curved bits near the cuticle edge, then the sides of the nail. Once you’ve shined one segment of the nail, move onto the next. Not seeing the dust? Apply a little more pressure until you do.
3_CONDITION
Twist and click the pen top to advance the oil, then brush a small amount onto nails and surrounding skin. Massage it in for a full sensory effect or leave it to absorb for a neater ‘touchless’ application.
Not getting oil into the pen? Twist and click the top to advance the oil into the brush. This may take up to 30 turns.
4_OBSERVE
Once you have a shined set of nails (hooray!) let them be *without touchups* for at least a week to allow them to grow back to dull.
Spend a few months finding out your unique regrowth period. (Some folks are less than one week to grow back to dull... some are multiple weeks). This has to do with your age, your health, and even the season.

Video Tips + Tutorials
You should start to see a shine instantly if you are producing dust on the polisher. If you are not producing any dust, it means you aren't using enough pressure. Once you see the shine, and can get all areas of the nail, you can stop there. Let the nail grow back to dull (about a week) and then begin again with your next session.
The short answer is yes. We talked above about being mindful of the time it takes your nails to regenerate back to "dull" after a polishing session. If it's a week, then resume your sessions with that cadence to make sure you're allowing your nails to reset.
We like the Atomic Habits method of stacking— doing your nails or your feet after your weekly "everything shower" for instance. Miss a week? No problem. Gently getting yourself back on track is the goal, not shaming. Even if you're just oiling your cuticles regularly... that's a win!
Commonly Asked Questions
HOW OFTEN DO I POLISH?
Usually it's once a week, but your unique situation may be longer depending on your age. Waiting and letting them grow back to fully dull actually gives you a better shine!
How do I get close to the cuticle edge?
The curved polisher is designed to fit close to the edge of the cuticle (and if your cuticles are healthy, you can even ride the polisher up over the cuticle). Just use extra short, gentle strokes because this is the "youngest" section of the nail.
I'm Seeing scratches— What does this mean?
Your nails grow in cycles, and when you are seeing slight scratching, it means your nail keratin is in a softer state. If you still see scratches after your nail is in a different growth cycle, reach out to us. If your scratches are also patchy, see below.
Why is my shine patchy?
In our conversations with customers, we've found that most were experiencing some kind of hormonal transition or imbalance. If this is the case for you, it's likely affecting your body's ability to grow the super hard cell layer that the Polisher removes to create the shine. Reach out to us for more customized advice on resuming use of the polisher.
Can I use this along with nail polish?
Yes! We are inclusive of all methods, and this polisher can be used as a prep for your occasional polish sessions. It gives the paint a nice smooth surface to adhere to.
