How to Use
Once a week with the foot file is a perfect cadence for quick touch ups to keep callus growth in check. Once every 3-4 days with the Verbena Balm to keep feet soft and protected.
What’s in the kit?
The glass foot file comes protected by a non-plastic silicone cover. This is paired with our verbena balm in an adjustable twist-up tube. Never-sticky application in a hands-free package.
The Verbena Balm Formula
We use only high-quality ingredients that support the skin’s natural function— Designed to specifically regulate moisture in the thicker stratum corneum of the feet.
Why it Works:
The Verbena Balm is an occlusive-forward formula, using natural plant oils, butters, and extracts: Cocoa butter is high in tocopherol content. (Antioxidant, collagen boosting). Calendula extract helps draw moisture into the skin. Beeswax’s soothing properties come from esters and free fatty acids, Castor oil is high in Oleic acid and works as both an emollient and an occlusive to soften skin texture.

The balm that comes with this kit has a nice fragrance and a good consistency, however it was essentially unusable in the packaging it came in. The balm was very loose in the packaging and slips out completely when turned upside down. It was hard to control. The only way I can use it is by grabbing onto the balm itself, which is not ideal and I have trouble controlling it! This was pretty disappointing given the price point of this balm. I wanted to like this, but I also hope this review warns others that the advertising may not completely show the reality- at least in the case of the balm that I received.

I succumbed to Instagram ads one day and bought this kit; my small rural town doesn’t have great options for nail salons and I HATE rough feet, but doing my own toes is a chore. I could not be more pleased with this purchase! It’s simple, pretty, and most importantly effective! It takes a little time to file at the roughness if you haven’t done it in awhile, but boy are the results worth it. If you are good at keeping up with self care then you’ll be golden, I bet it would be a five minute process. I packed this on a two week trip to Europe—the balm is airport security friendly—and it was perfect. I just bought three more for friends for Christmas! Just do it - for the cost of one salon pedi you’re getting countless easy, delightful pedicures at home.

It smooths the rough with the file and then moisturizes with balm. Scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. I love the silicone file cover. The file in cover is packed in a drawstring bag. Packing is great. Worth the price to me. Glass > plastic The balm is a push up applicator - no plastic parts. I bought this after buying/trying/loving the Dry Gloss Manicure Kit.

I cannot believe that after one time my heels are so soft and smooth. They were so bad after a summer of walking around Europe. They were cracked and even bleeding. One time and they are already smooth!!! And the verbena balm is a dream, the smell of summer!

How often do I use the foot file?

Do I use the foot file wet or dry?
We recommend you use it dry, so that it’s easier to see how much you’ve removed.
How do I tell when I’ve removed the right amount of callus?
When you’ve removed some dead skin and approach the skin that’s ‘alive,’ underneath, you’ll see it go ever so slightly pink. That’s when you should end your session. The objective is to end before you get to pink, but it does take a bit of practice before you’ll get a feel for it.
How do I clean the foot file?
Rinse the file with hot water after each use, using hand soap if you'd like. Place the polisher on a towel and pat dry gently— do not wipe with the towel, since the abrasion may damage the cloth fibers. Leave to air dry for a few minutes before placing it back in its silicon case.
