The Bare French manicure is designed to have a little more pop than your basic natural nail. A whitening pencil is used instead of paint— perfect for a semi-permanent effect for occasions or any time you want to feel a little extra polished. Just like with that little bit of shine, it’s amazing how much a bump of white can enhance the look of your nails!
The Bare French would make an excellent gift for those expanding their clean beauty routine to include (truly!) clean nail care.

- The Dry Gloss Manicure kit:
(Glass Polisher, citrine cuticle oil pen, wooden pusher sticks, chamois cloth) - Water-based whitening pencil
- Czech crystal nail file
- Black vegan pouch with waxed drawstring

How to Use
Start with clean, dry nails that have no oils or lotions on them. Gently run the whitening pencil under the nail using light strokes until you cover the whole surface. Next, use The Polisher by applying gentle but firm pressure across the nail in short strokes. Once shined, use the brush pen to apply a thin coat of The Cuticle Oil to the nail bed and cuticle. Shape as needed— The whole process takes about 15 minutes.

For the white pencil: Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Talc, Sodium Stearate, Cellulose Gum, Oleth-20, Calcium Pantothenate, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Iron Oxides (Ci 77491)
For Citrine Oil: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Olive Squalane, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Vitus Vinifera (Grape) Seed oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil, and fragrance (essential oils).

How long do your nails stay white?
Since the pencil is water soluble, this varies based on how many times you wash your hands and how "powerful" your soap is. 3 days is the average. The perfect time to add this effect is before a night-time event. Since there's no dry time, you can do your Bare French just before you dash out the door!
What length nails are best for this look?
You'll need some white showing on your free edge to be able to get the pencil under the nail. That said, we really love this for shorter nails. Make sure you shape them exactly the same length to get an extra polished look.
Is this safe for moms with babies and food professionals?
The white pencil should not be ingested, so it's best to remove it before this kind of sensitive contact. Use the wooden pushers in the Dry Gloss Kit to remove the pencil.

I have struggled to keep my cuticles hydrated, and this oil pen is working wonders. Not only is the oil great, but it’s also so easy to carry and have available all the time. I’ve also been searching for a replacement for Sally Hansen’s white nail pencil since they stopped making it. Bare Hands has done it, and I’m so happy to have this little pencil again.

This set speaks to my minimalist side, as everything you need for beautiful nails is packed into the kit. It is easy to store at home and abroad. Your footprint environmentally is reduced. No toxins involved so your nails remain healthy, not to mention your body. In the time it takes to listen to a podcast, you're done. The video tutorials teaching how to polish the nail bed are to the point, plus other individual issues examined to aid in resolving. Suzanne is setting out to show women there is another way to "bare" it all and there are other great options. And she's a nice person, to boot! Thank you for a great product.
